What does it mean to lose your innocence?
I was at my sisters college, and some girls wanted to take me to a party, and said that i should lose my innocence. How would going to this party make me lose my innocence?

- To "lose your innocence" is often a euphemism for losing your virginity.
- Someone there called Eve would have offered you a bite of her apple. Then nothing would ever have been the same again...
- Innocence is Ignorance...When you broaden your horizons, learn and experience new things, you lose a bit of your innocence. To completely lose your innocence you must have infinite wisdom and knowledge. I personally believe no one ever completely loses their innocence, the world is just too big.
- I am 59 years old and people still marvel that I still blush when off-color things are said to me, particularly if I don't understand them and they have a sexual connotation. I am still gullible and innocent in many ways. Never be ashamed of it--and don't go to parties with people who want to help you lose it. They are simply jealous that they have already lost their own innocence. Which means they are most likely having sex with boys/men inappropriately. Be yourself and give it time. You have a lot of years of living ahead of you in which to lose your innocence. . Good luck.
